On this page you will not only find an active site map which allows you to instantly jump to any page, but also a chronology of the changes and additions I've made to my website, so that return visitors can tell when I've added new sections to it. I'll only include substantive events, and not any tweaking or minor uploads that I do. For upgrades and changes to individual pages check the Version number at the top and the page date at the bottom.

  • October 6, 2024 - Add high-resolution virtual tabletop maps for each of the City of Greyhawk quarters to the main City of Greyhawk page page.

     
  • August 18, 2024 - Updated the Life, the Multiverse, and Everything page with some extra explanation on the Physics of the Multiverse that impacts Spelljammer physics in particular.

     
  • March 3, 2024 - Updated the Who is Maldin? page with a list of publications and livestream guest appearances.

     
  • January 7, 2024 - Added the new Dark City of Erelhei-Cinlu page to the Underdark section of my website, which includes a new map of the infamous capital city of the drow, a map of one the neighborhoods, and a description (and floorplans) of a new location, a poison shop called "Krug and Heez's Alembic Residues".

     
  • November 28, 2023 - Updated the home page for the 25th Anniversary of Maldin's Greyhawk.

     
  • March 13, 2022 - Added the new City of Greyhawk v.2 map to the main City of Greyhawk page and updated the City of Greyhawk map index with the many new locations added from a variety of sources.

     
  • August 2, 2021 - Added 4 more adventure locations from the Dragonsfoot Collaborative Project: Mapping the Depths of the Earth to the Greyhawk's Underdark page. "The Fire Giant Ambush", "Obsidian Pool of the Fallen Star", "Stone Giant Mining Project", and "Shadows in the Darkness".

     
  • July 24, 2021 - Added the Specialty Priests page, to accompany a special Lord Gosumba Twitch stream "Gabbin' at Lord Peak's Haven #156 - Greyhawk Specialty Priests" with Jay Scott and Eric Boyd.

     
  • May 22, 2021 - Added 3 more adventure locations from the Dragonsfoot Collaborative Project: Mapping the Depths of the Earth to the Greyhawk's Underdark page. "Bugs", "The Captive Pech", and "The Ghoul Warrens".

     
  • May 14, 2021 - Finally got around to finishing the final 3 location descriptions on Greyhawk's Underdark: A Regional Survey page.

     
  • August 1, 2020 - A long overdue update of my Guide to RPG Mapmaking. Technology and programming has marched a long way since I first penned the original page.

     
  • July 26, 2020 - Uploaded Part 11 and 12 of Mystic Scholar's That Infamous Key story, beginning Volume 2 of the story.

     
  • June 20, 2020 - Uploaded a pdf of Mystic Scholar's Complete Volume 1 of his That Infamous Key story, comprising Parts 1 through 10.

     
  • July 1, 2019 - An update to the Spelljammer section of my website, including a new Spelljammer Campaign menu page, and where I am now hosting (with permission) Nerik's wonderful Flow Map of Crystal Spheres and his uniquely exhaustive spreadsheet of sphere data.

     
  • June 30, 2019 - Uploaded a new mysterious location description about the Wall, an article that I had previous published in the May 2019 special issue of the Oerth Journal, printed for GaryCon 2019.

  • December 15, 2018 - Added a new page describing Large Luigi, the Orbi, and the Secrets of the Beholders.

  • November 18, 2018 - Added Rik Rose's tribute to working with the late Carl Sargent.

  • October 9, 2018 - Fixed errors on several pages, some caused by defunct java settings.

  • June 1, 2015 - Finally back to it again. Fixed the broken java pop-up labels on the main City of Greyhawk locations maps. The maps should now display properly again, and pop-up labels should appear when you hover over each for a second or two.

  • October 18, 2013 - Fans have been asking for it for more than a decade, so here it is, finally! The City of Greyhawk street index map. Here you can find all of the streets from all official publications (boxed sets, supplements, adventures, and both Dragon and Dungeon Magazines), as well as those streets found in E. Gary Gygax's Gord the Rogue novels, and a few from my own campaign.

  • April 5, 2013 - Its been a while! Well, having a kid just before my last update will do that to your free time. There are lots of updates that were in various stages of preparation that I'm hoping will slowly get rolled out now. The first of which is the Anamnesis of the Mystic Scholar. I'm pleased to announce that I am now hosting Mystic Scholar's wonderful Greyhawk fiction.
       
  • June 23, 2011 - Fixed the Encyclopedia Subterranica Index Map pop up labels on the Greyhawk's Underdark page, so that they will work properly in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

  • June 21, 2011 - An update to my Guide to RPG Mapmaking page, including an expanded discussion of software, several new maps, and a discussion on PDFs.

  • June 18, 2011 - Added a new page in the Spelljammer subsection describing the new and original crystal sphere "Osraspace".

  • April 29, 2011 - New sitemap, adding in pages that have been up for a while but did not appear on the sitemap (from the Greyhawk's Underdark subsection), a direct link to the new home of Mortellan's World of Greyhawk Comic on Maldin's Greyhawk, and pages under preparation that are nearing completion. The latter will become active once the new pages are uploaded.

  • April 28, 2011 - Mortellan announces that Maldin's Greyhawk is the new home of his World of Greyhawk Comic, and "goes live".

  • October 3, 2010 - Uploaded several more individual Encounter PDF files for the Encyclopaedia Subterranica project and a high-resolution version of the index map.

  • September 24, 2010 - The underdark location index map at Greyhawk's Underdark now has pop-up alt text for all encounter areas (visible if you use Internet Explorer8), and uploaded several more individual Encounter PDF files.

  • September 3, 2010 - Add a new underdark location index map for D4: Encyclopaedia Subterranica to the Greyhawk's Underdark for the region covered by the original map in the D1-3 series of 1st Edition modules by E. Gary Gygax, a chart for the project listing all locations, and uploaded the first individual Encounter PDF file (by grodog).

  • February 11, 2010 - Add a vertical cross-section with a depth scale to the "Greyhawk's Underdark: A Regional Survey" webpage so that DMs can get a better feel for how the different levels in the described areas relate to each other.

  • January 7, 2010 - A major update to the Greyhawk's Underdark subsection of the website, including an all-new page Greyhawk's Underdark: A Regional Survey featuring a layered PDF of the underdark beneath the southwest Flanaess, bringing together the GDQ series of modules, the Night Below boxed set, and the 1st Edition Dungeoneers Survival Guide into one immense campaign setting. Moved the description of the City of Khor to a separate page. This major update was done in concert with a special World of Greyhawk comic by mortellan.

  • February 24, 2009 - An update to my Ships of Spelljammer page, with fold-up models of a revamped elven Man-O-War, and the accessory pieces to assemble the elven ships into a elven crown base.

  • February 1, 2009 - Maldin's Greyhawk now proudly hosts Jason Zavoda's excellent Encyclopedia Greyhawkania, the most complete reference list ever produced for the World of Greyhawk.

  • October 6, 2008 - Maldin's Greyhawk celebrates its 10th Anniversary!! Special thanks to mortellan for an awesome comic depicting Maldin and his 2 assistants about to read from a certain famous book. You've really outdone yourself mort! As a special occasion, the greatest secrets behind Mordenkainen, the Circle of Eight, Rary, and the Vale of the Mage are finally revealed with the Secrets of Mordenkainen and the Circle of Eight webpage.

  • September 30, 2008 - Completely revamped the section main pages ("Epic Mysteries", "Arcane Magics", "Greyhawk Locations", and "Game Mechanics"), and made them much more user friendly.

  • August 29, 2007 - Added Rick "Duicarthan" and my co-authored article on the Mechanics of Destruction: Origins of the Twin Cataclysms from the Oerth Journal #22. This article includes 3rd Edition rules for the spells and artifacts involved during this catastrophe.

  • August 15, 2007 - Added the descriptive text and a sketch of the Great Cavern of Khor to the Underdark page.

  • October 21, 1998 - My site is finally added to the Greyhawk Webring. Hmmm... Is it just me, or do those "stats" make absolutely no sense whatsoever? After 6 weeks, the "8 week" numbers were still identical to the "last 2 week" numbers, even though they are (sporadically) updated.

  • October 6, 1998 - The final touches are done and I send out the announcement notice to the Greytalk and MPGN Greyhawk lists. Of course in my first message to Greytalk I forget to include the URL!! DOH!!!!   ;-)

  • September 25, 1998 - I ask Kent Matthewson for permission to use his Greyhawk Shield graphic as part of my logo. Kent tests out my site and I test out his all-new Codex of Greyhawk site (which he officially unveils November 4 1998).
